On the 11th day of Christmas my true dog gave to me…
eleven nights-a-waiting,
ten stolen ornaments,
nine socks-a-hanging,
eight paws-a-prancing,
seven melting snowmen,
six trees-a-decorated,
five tasty treats!
four reindeer antlers,
three outside cats,
two tired dogs,
and a climbing cat in a pear(less) tree!
Day 24, and it’s the night before Christmas. And all through the house, there was planning and strategizing going on as Rosee came up with her final plan.
Rosee knows just how to get Santa Claus’ attention. How about a few cookies?!? An old, classic that’s sure to work.
(As long as she leaves the cookies alone long enough. They’re for Santa, Rosee, not for you!)
She’ll be seeing you soon Santa Claus . . .
Day 22, and Rosee’s so close to seeing the man in red with her own two eyes.
But since she’s a little too big for some hiding spots – it’s time to bring in the reinforcements!
Santa Claus won’t even notice him sitting under the tree . . .
Day 20, and Rosee needs a new plan. So far nothing has panned out, or turned up any reliable leads.
Time to sit, sip, and ponder.
You win this round Santa Claus – but just wait ’til Christmas Eve . . .
Day 16, and Rosee’s after a new tail.
Don’t worry, she’s still looking out for Santa’s, but she’s pretty sure she knows where to get some confidential information on St. Nick’s whereabouts.
She’s positive the squirrels know something. You see, those squirrels are constantly running circles around her at the local parks. They’re everywhere – jumping in trees, and scampering around in bushes!
And you know what? Those squirrels must know a pair of chipmunks, who know some ducks, who are good friends with a certain mouse. A mouse that gets around, and knows how to make wishes come true. Surely the mouse knows something about Santa Claus.
Rosee’s even got Simon in on the hunt this time – searching the trees!
The squirrels will talk, Santa Claus, the squirrels will talk . . .
Day 11, and Rosee’s trying a new angle.
Everyone knows how much reindeer love carrots. She’ll just have the reindeer lead Santa right to her!
Soon enough it’ll be game, set, match Santa Claus . . .
Day 10 and Rosee’s got a new style to to try out.
This is sure to fool that old, jolly man! She’ll just sit here and bide her time.
She’s got this in the bag Santa Claus . . .
Day 7 and with Mom cleaning up the front yard, it’s time to consider a new strategy – camouflage!
Do these leaves go with her Santa hat?
Perhaps Simon will have better luck blending in.
Incognito is the name of the game Santa Claus . . .
Day 5 and Rosee will not let the rain dampen her spirit!
She may not be able to go searching for him outside right now, but Santa must be hiding somewhere!
Perhaps in her favorite treat container? (A girl can dream, right?)
The game continues Santa Claus . . .
Rosee’s got an idea. A wonderful, crazy, awesome idea!
2018 is the year she is going to catch Santa Claus in action.
